Watford Council invites people to join the Big Jubilee Picnic from 12:30pm on Saturday 4 June at Cassiobury Park. Attendees are encouraged to bring their picnic baskets and blankets whilst enjoying a range of music, dance and spoken word routines at the bandstand.
The fun-filled day will include captivating performances from the likes of: Electric Umbrella, BEEE Creative, Pump House CYT (songs from Matilda, Jungle Book and Legally Blonde), Pump House’s Clogg Morriss, Watford Writers, Joe Farry, The Dan Tien, Rob Russo, Audentier Orchestra, Kathak dancing, The Victoria Sponge Experience, Gospel Arts Manna, Palace Young Company and Tiger Jazz: Alex Williams sings The Great American Songbook.
Elected Mayor of Watford, Peter Taylor said: “The unique and inclusive acts performing during the Big Jubilee Picnic perfectly capture the spirit of Watford. We are looking forward to audiences enjoying all of the performances and celebrating Her Majesty’s iconic 70-year reign.”
In addition to these unmissable performances, there will also be an arts and crafts village showcasing local businesses, children’s rides and stalls for food and drink.
